So, Bailey has a good chance of winning the primary. If he does win the primary, does Griffin support him with the same resources that he will have supported Irvin with?
Was just reading that two compounds contained in cannabis helped prevent COVID-19 infection in a lab study by binding spike proteins on the virus. I try not to get too excited about one study, but couldn’t help thinking Illinois is well positioned to scale up production capacity for a new humanitarian purpose whether cultivars for human consumption or industrial uses (hemp) end up being useful in combating the scourge.
Update: DoIT outage earlier this morning was an AC power issue.
It impacted everything illinois.gov.
Fixed now.

IL lags so far on cannabis. I was in Michigan over the weekend and the local dispensary was running a promo - Three 1g vape cartridges for $100 total, with five pre-rolls thrown in. For reference, a single 1g cart here starts at about $110. The IL program, while well intentioned, is probably keeping the black market very much alive and well
RIP Les Grobstein. Recall standing in a room of lots of people in an office, one of whom had a copy of the tape the Grobber made. yes, THE tape. Classic bit of keeping things and sharing with others. somewhere Les is getting an award for his hard work.
