Good / bad. Kid came over last night and did the driveway. But the handles broke on the snowblower before he got done. So today I need to fabricate a new metal handle or find a new snowblower to use.
“So glad to hear that no one was killed in the pile up on I-39 last night”
What a blessing. Air bags and seat belts are critical.
Incredible to realize the difference in vehicles from 30 years ago. I’m guessing that 90% of the cars on the road in 1990 were rear wheel drive. Today, I’m surmising that 90% of the vehicles have front wheel or all wheel drive with anti-lock braking. Much safer to traverse the snow filled roads, at least.
Today is my 65th birthday and I’m retiring as of this afternoon. I would love to be flying off to Rome tomorrow, but I’m waiting to see what this new variant is going to be like before I get on a plane.

Congratulations on your B-Day and retirement.
Heard somewhere that 65 is the new 35.
Hopefully Covid will go into retirement too so you can go to Rome.
Only in our dreams. This soon to be 65 year old body is missing a few parts, wear and tear is showing, hair is thinner and grayer, not as strong or agile as once was.
Wouldn’t have missed growing old with Sheba for the world.

Fridays are bittersweet.
I look forward to the time off but my favorite blog goes down for the weekend.

Judge Mike McCuskey named LIG. No nonsense guy. But will he be able to do anything since the job really has no teeth, according to Judge Pope.

Pope said a lot of things.
