Tallying Chicago St Patrick’s Day (Observed) weekend returns at the bars and restaurants. Next Friday’s actual holiday still to go but looks like the green beer and Guinness turnout might approach 2019 and almost surely well ahead of 2020 and 2022. Much needed after a slow winter. Nowhere near the epic turnout of better weather parade weekends though.

That’s the Springfield Uketopians ukulele club; they meet at Stella, second Saturday of every month.

Glad to see Illinois and Northwestern make the big dance. And Bradley to the NIT.
Not sure how SIU didn’t get the NIT invite. Or SLU for that matter. I guess it was more important get barely .500 teams like Wisconsin and Michigan in.
