The blocking of the crisis pregnancy center law is troubling. Yes, you have 1st Amendment rights to distribute literature and offer information about alternatives to abortion. But, what you do NOT have within those 1st Amendment rights to distribute literature and offer information is the right to physically intimidate those seeking reproductive care.
The problem is that the crisis pregnancy centers are not offering “information” so much as giving out literature with MIS-information.
Lying to people is not offering them an option as much as it is deceiving them. It’s the deception that the law meant to stop.
Earlier this summer it seemed there wasn’t much to look forward to, baseball wise, for Illinoisans. But the Cubs are on fire, hope they can keep it up.

Agree with Amalia on her comment about supporting the Sun Times.
We really do need to support local news organizations.
