There was a case back in 2022 where a women killed two do IDOT workers with her vehicle in Henderson County IL on the IL side of the Great River Bridge there.
At the time she was charged with some negligible traffic infractions, but those were at least followed up by more substantial charges later, in May 2023 so 5 months later.
But I can’t find any information on the disposition of the case. She (Emily J.) was supposed to have a hearing in May. I would have thought court records would be public information. If they somehow decided to let her slide on the charges, it would be typical for drivers who kill others, but I actually don’t know what the disposition was, here.
