A bit of an upgrade over the senior citizen metal band.

- Under Dawg - Tuesday, Mar 12, 24 @ 10:26 am:
Lol relax, this will fill the stands with Millenials for a night instead of Boomers/Gen X’ers every night.
It’ll be okay for other generations to enjoy the fair music, I promise

=Was Hanson not available?=
The audience that follows the Jonas Brothers wasn’t born when Hanson was on the charts. And I think that’s the point. I don’t consider myself a Jonas fan, but I can appreciate the State Fair bringing in acts who are actually putting out music that’s relevant to today’s generation. But if a 60+ year old man singing Girls, Girls, Girls is more your speed enjoy that.
- Grandson of Man - Tuesday, Mar 12, 24 @ 10:42 am:
The Fair is racking up some big names, good. This group is spoofed in a South Park episode with a cruel and vulgar Mickey Mouse, who’s their employer and quite unhappy with their professional decision.
- Observation - Tuesday, Mar 12, 24 @ 11:15 am:
Tell me why? Oh, wait. Wrong boy band.
- Rich Miller - Tuesday, Mar 12, 24 @ 11:17 am:

Music is like food. Everyone has their own tastes. People need to lighten up.
- City Zen - Tuesday, Mar 12, 24 @ 11:25 am:
Jonas played the Minnesota State Fair last year and drew quite well. Never discount the mom demographic.
- RNUG - Tuesday, Mar 12, 24 @ 11:39 am:
To quote my 14 yo grandson … they finally got someone good.
- H-W - Tuesday, Mar 12, 24 @ 11:47 am:
@ RNUG
Introduce you grandson to Keith Urban. He’s good.
- RNUG - Tuesday, Mar 12, 24 @ 12:03 pm:
- H-W - My oldest grandson knows most all the musical genres from early to current. He plays trumpet in the high school jazz band … and is good enough that even though he is only a freshman, he was one of three that got a solo during one of their recent performances.

Wish they would book Rhiannon Gibbons. That friday song was the best.

=== That friday song was the best===
Right? I was blown away.
- Baloneymous - Tuesday, Mar 12, 24 @ 1:22 pm:
I encourage you to watch the South Park episode with the Jonas Brothers from 2009.
- Baltimoron - Tuesday, Mar 12, 24 @ 2:24 pm:
This GenX mamma likes Jonas Brothers. Their songs are fun and sometimes that’s what I really need. I saw them play on ESPN’s College Football GameDay a few months ago and it looked like everyone was having a great time! I saw them Live once at a I Heart Radio Jingle Ball concert - and again - doesn’t have to change your life, sometimes just a little fun is well worth it!
- Blue Dog - Tuesday, Mar 12, 24 @ 2:38 pm:
I’m showing my age,but $85 seems like a lot.
- Candy Dogood - Tuesday, Mar 12, 24 @ 2:50 pm:
Get into a messy custody fight with one of Taylor Swift’s friends, and next thing you know you’re on the state fair circuit.

That’s true, except in the case of Miller’s corn dogs which are objectively superior to all others.
