Very interesting to see the hourly vote totals.
In a post-COVID world, is the “pre-work rush” a thing of the past? 50% of voter turnout is 3 pm and later.
- anon2 - Tuesday, Mar 19, 24 @ 8:21 pm:
Is Bost winning?
- Wowie - Tuesday, Mar 19, 24 @ 8:41 pm:
Brandon Johnson is the reverse Midas
- Rich Miller - Tuesday, Mar 19, 24 @ 8:44 pm:
Wowie makes a snarky, but still strong point
- TheSouthern - Tuesday, Mar 19, 24 @ 8:52 pm:
Goodbye Darren Bailey. (Please!)

==Is Bost winning?==
For now but I wouldn’t bet on it
- Wowie - Tuesday, Mar 19, 24 @ 8:56 pm:
Apologies for snark
- JSI - Tuesday, Mar 19, 24 @ 8:59 pm:
==For now but I wouldn’t bet on it== Bost has pulled all the large counties significantly. This race should be called already.

Rich, FWIW I really like the layout, setup, and ease of “Arena.”
Been super easy to follow all night and (at least on my end) zero issues accessing it. Been very helpful.
Thanks for the work you do.

Not sure if my comment didn’t post or if I posted it on wrong thread, but: Rich I wanted to say I like this Arena setup quite a bit. Been easy to use.

===This race should be called already. ===
Agreed.
Oops now I’m seeing it. Apologies.
- Stephanie Kollmann - Tuesday, Mar 19, 24 @ 9:29 pm:
Whew. Uncounted ballot distribution looked bad to me at 61% - glad to see it looks unlikely IL will send Bailey to DC.
- Padraig - Tuesday, Mar 19, 24 @ 9:37 pm:
Can’t seem to find any results on IL 102.
- Rich Miller - Tuesday, Mar 19, 24 @ 9:47 pm:
Padraig, it’s a write-in race. Gonna be a few days I think. They have to be counted by hand.
- Padraig - Tuesday, Mar 19, 24 @ 9:53 pm:
Thanks Rich!
- Norseman - Tuesday, Mar 19, 24 @ 10:09 pm:
Flowers wilted tonight. Gardener Welch took care of business.
- low level - Tuesday, Mar 19, 24 @ 10:19 pm:
Speaker Welch - big winner. Mayor Johnson - big loser
Also I cant find anything on Niemerg?
- Rich Miller - Tuesday, Mar 19, 24 @ 10:31 pm:
=== I cant find anything on Niemerg===
Scroll up a few notches.
- Old IL Dude - Tuesday, Mar 19, 24 @ 10:54 pm:
Wanna know what’s ironic? Had “Remain a Sanctuary City” appeared on the same ballot as “Bring Chicago Home”, there’s a pretty doggone good chance that BCH would’ve passed.
Sorry, comments for this post are now closed.
