I’m really looking forward to when the Oakland Athletics, formerly known as the Kansas City Athletics, formerly known as the Philadelphia Athletics, soon to be known as just the Athletics (while they are in Sacramento), soon to be known as the Las Vegas Athletics visit Chicago.
Just got a jury duty summons for Sangamon County. $15 a day. Pathetic.
Why not extend the “Fight for 15″ or “Fight for 20″ to adjust for inflation and include Jury Duty reimbursement in this? Or simply increase reimbursement from $15 to $100 (at least) a day.
Aren’t you a state worker? You still get paid while you are on jury duty. I get the sentiment for those who don’t get paid. I would favor a solution requiring employers to still pay their employee’s wages while they are serving on a jury.
Continually wallowing in White Sox lament…. Missing Jake Burger. Who needs a guy who can hit two home runs in a game when you can have an injured double a pitcher with an ERA north of six?
Weird controversy brewing with the papers started by Proft using voter data they obtained when connected to Proft’s pac to post a bunch of info on voters that the State Board of Elections is trying to get them to take down

Interesting story on WSIL regarding ISP cracking down on speeding on I57 in Southern Illinois.
Good. That stretch of interstate through Williamson and Jefferson counties was looking like the Dan Ryan.
Now if they could work on (Interstate) Route 13.

Ducky I’m a Sox fan as well. Never understood the timing of the Burger trade or the return. But it must be Spring because Eloy is injured. Ugh.
