Went out to one of my regular hangouts on Saturday night that finally had its back patio open. Warm weather, humid, packed with people. It felt like summer had officially started.
Hard not to feel good about the state of the Bears roster after the draft. I like what I see and hear on all of he picks. Wish I felt as good about what they’re doing with the stadium plans. I just don’t see the lakefront as a viable option and hope they can get back to trying to make something work at the racetrack
Amazing how much nicer the days in Chicago feel once the trees bloom. Feels like it lowers our risk of enduring a belated winter part 3 to almost zero.
If a bill has the effect of servers wages going down, why would the restaurants prices go up? This seems like either Econ 101 is failing or a restaurant owner is planning to make a mistake and raise prices for his own profiteering.

Fun to see the White Sox win three games in a row this weekend. Great weather as well. Life is good.

White Sox got lucky. Still the worst team in years
Stay at Guaranteed Rate. No new stadium.

@SteveM Having a Bears team that potentially could win high-scoring games is surreal but I’ll take it.

Not sure what to think about Dan Brady running for mayor of Bloomington.
I expect him to win given his superior name recognition to the one-term mayoral incumbent and his campaigning skills.
But I am curious to hear what reason he gives for why he is running for this other than he is bored.
