Tried to read Illinois Politico this morning and found I have to log in to do so. Just getting tired and wary about giving my email to every site that asks for it. Can just see more incoming junk headed my email’s way when I do that.
Why is the senate sitting on so many good bills? Many aren’t even controversial. Hopefully they can move these while the budget negotiations are happening.
Why aren’t we talking about conservation funding this year? Initiatives like those to increase funding for Fall Covers for Spring Savings are modest asks, but essential to supporting the popular, oversubscribed, and underfunded program. In addition to broad bipartisan support, the initiative is one of the few issues where agriculture and environmental organizations are aligned!
