Tim Mapes missed that memo as quite possibly the Dem legislators disdained him as much as GOP electeds.
Madigan’s ultimate undoing is that he stayed too long as both the world and his Caucus had passed him by. And his trust in Fredo McClain.

MJM is no wise sage - it is sort of funny hearing him say that about himself - when it seems to me that his favorite consensus-building tool was campaign cash - or the lack thereof.
