Sun shining, humidity gone. Time to continue the Bicentennial Blast in a wonderful central IL city.
Speaking of fact checking
News: Fact-checkers point out that 34 countries use mail-in voting, contrary to President Donald Trump’s assertion that “we are now the only country in the world that uses mail-in voting.”
View: It’s no surprise to me that Trump lies and lies and lies.
It was spit out the Cocoa Puffs morning when we read that a JP Morgan Chase banker and the guy who thought a Nigerian oil hustler was an ATM before his Trump DOJ sweetheart non prosecution deal are the faces of a remap plan. And they cloak themselves with Obama cloaks. Hope the former prez drops a defamation suit.
Have a great day. GO CARDS.

Public Act 104-0423 might be the most confusing park-related legislation I’ve seen. Why did it get so complicated? They had a pretty clear-cut system before for distressed communities.
=Kids look happy and excited to be going back, while parents look distressed.=
The national narratives from the far left and the far right have only exacerbated the typical parental nerves for back to school. Public schools are still a great place and extremely safe for kids. The kids, fortunately, do not seem to be affected very much by those aforementioned national narratives.
