Claim: Homeland Security official pledges to prosecute Rep. Croke
Saturday, Oct 25, 2025 - Posted by Rich Miller * I’m not sure why the Assistant Secretary of the Department of Homeland Security believes posting publicly displayed license plate numbers of cars is illegal, but we may find out…
Rep. Croke (D-Chicago) is running for Illinois comptroller. I’ve asked for a statement.

To the Feds, not that you’re watch or using the NSA to hunt dissidents down. You have all the power of the USA and you’re wasting it on this because your feeling got hurt by someone saying something on social media. keep doing you boo boo
And Congrats, Controller Croke

Do you think this will increase Croke’s polling numbers by 5%? 10%? More?
Also, this seems like an ideal “I’m Spartacus!” moment… I expect to see hundreds of similar lists over the next few weeks.

Wonder if this is a political strategy, since many candidates are doing the same thing. It is going to get a lot worse folks. Holly Kim, Villa, and others are calling out injustice as well. Go Holly!

There they go again - weaponizing the Department of Justice. They are cool with that now.

Good on Margaret for trying to protect vulnerable people in her community. She’ll be on the right side of history when this is all done.

By DHS logic, clicking the “police” button on Waze would be considered doxxing state troopers.
