And the Bears couldn’t even beat the Tyler Huntley led Ravens.

Nah. Horks and Bulls are playing better than expected though. It could be the first decent winter at the United Center in years.

I am worried about Caleb’s development. Sure we beat those 4 awful defenses, but he has been rough the past couple games. Now that the run game has picked up as well, I am afraid that he is holding our offense back!!! Let’s hope BJ recognizes this and can figure it out..
I gave up after they drove all the way down the field twice, only to collapse in the red zone and settle for FGs. The penalties are killing them. Caleb isn’t growing into the NFL QB we were promised fast enough. The defense is a patch work mess and needs major help in the off season.
But other than that, it’s been good so far. We’re 4-3. There might be a few more wins in the future too. But probably only a few.
Oh it was so bad. Caleb looks bad. The defense is absolutely atrocious. And the positions we need to draft are the same ones we needed last draft and didn’t get. Hopefully they can win ugly a few more times this year.

I agree they continue to rack up way too many penalties. It was a big problem last year and new coaching hasn’t rectified the problem. Lack of discipline.
Reality hits Bears as their 4-game winning streak was against the Cowboys (blown out in Denver), the LV Raiders (blown out by KC), Commanders (blown out by Cowboys and will be blown out by KC tonight) and the Saints (cheered backup QB when starting QB Rattler replaced down 2 TDs yesterday).
Urgency needs to be scoring TDs and not settling for field goals. Also, fewer penalties.
Defense about to be shredded by Joe Flacco and the 2 WRs in Cinti on Sunday (though Bengals just lost to the NY Jets). Wait until the Bears play in Philly.

What were those awful uniforms Pittsburgh was wearing?
Packers fan here, feeling pretty good about the weekend(banned punctuation mark) Doesn’t seem like it’s THAT hard to have back-to-back-to-back great QBS…
I’ve been wondering if Johnson needs to dial back a bit on how much of his offense installation he should try to utilize. When it sets in, it could be spectacular with all the weapons. This is going to take time which is not necessarily when the fans want it to click. For example, it took the O-Line a bit to gel and suddenly Swift wasn’t a bum anymore. GO BEARS! I can wait a bit.
what was that Bears team doing yesterday? how are both the offense and defense streaky? sure, Caleb has not been wonderful even with other good on the offense. and the D just ridiculously bad. injuries? yes, perhaps that, the line. but yesterday was a strange collapse. could it be the coaching? which sounds nuts given the rep and work of the head coach, but, something was really wrong yesterday.

The Bears got beaten both ways on the line. The so called “skill players” cannot always perform at high levels in that situation.
Still a work in process, and work within the trading period will pay off this season. Hopeful.

Anyone who needs extra cash can sign up as a running back for opponents when they play the Bears defense.
