That is 45,260 dollars toward LSSI’s 63,250 dollar goal to provide 2,530 gifts for foster kids this holiday season. We still need 720 more gifts to reach the goal. Outside of enrollment the biggest problem facing higher education in Illinois is the lack of an institution satisfactory to parents and their students who are not admitted to UIUC.

A possible solution to the higher education problem is make NIU part of the UI system as was done with Sangamon State.

With a UID think of how many students would not go out of state taking their tuition money with them.

As a WIU graduate school alum, it pains me to say this, but we should probably think about rolling in both the Macomb and QC campuses of Western into the UI system (UIM and UIQC). Same with Eastern–but UIC is already taken.
