We’ve done well, especially considering that we didn’t receive the $10,000 anonymous gift we were blessed with in each of the past two years. Not factoring in that annual anonymous donor, this was our best year ever, and we even topped last year’s grand total. Y’all are the best. We have built a real community here over the decades. I just cannot thank you enough. But, if you haven’t given yet, or you’ve found some extra money under the couch cushions, please click here. Right now it looks like it’s going to be fixing a holiday dinner for me and my mom.
Ham,mashed potatoes,gravy,corn,Stove Top stuffing,rolls.
Haven’t quite decided on a dessert yet.

Found my late mom’s rib roast recipe and going to try and replicate her roasts, with creamy horseradish dressing on the side.

Adult kids will be here. Turkey on Christmas Eve and then leftovers and a down day on Christmas itself. We usually go on a walk in the timber on Christmas and the weather sounds like it will be good.
We are getting into making good coffee and I want to do a lot of experimenting. Daughter has a Breville espresso machine and I just got a Moccamaster brewer and grinder. Going bean shopping today.
