Hopefully the “Northern Illinois Transit Authority” would consider extending the present Metra routes west all the way to East Dubuque, Savanna, and Fulton.

Hey, one thing at a time…the Rockford extension project is coming along. It would be quite the stretch for contracted operator Metra to take the train any farther west…Amtrak would be more logical. At some point, the Metra extensions of BNSF to Yorkville and UP West to DeKalb will start to gain some traction.
I just tried looking up the hours of operation on the Chicago City Treasurer’s website and holy cow, I have never seen a gov’t website so blatantly promoting the official. Not only can I not find the hours of operation there really isn’t much info on the office itself and the website looks more like one designed for a multi-level-marketing scheme.

I’ve been waiting 2.25 years for the AG’s Public Access Counselor to conclude its review of an alleged OMA violation. Is this a record?

Grayson was sentenced to 20 years. I’m honestly shocked that he got the max sentence allowable
