One of my friends’ dad had the unlikely pleasure of working with Stevie Nicks’ dad Jess Nicks. Jess was the president of Armour-Dial Corporation which had been bought by the Greyhound Corporation (the bus company). Jess became involved in the labor negotiations with the Amalgamated Transit Union which my friend’s dad was a part-time official in addition to his duties at the Joliet Greyhound station. It’s a small world.
