Politics has obviously changed since the days of Hinky Dink and Bathhouse John. When influencers didn’t exist drinks for your voters on Election Day as they voted early and often could help contribute to election victories.

At least he could subsidize them. $15-$18 beer is Dead and Company Wrigley Field pricing, and those shows were way more fun than an election party.

Just put on the Kornacki cam and heard McLean County referred to as one of the most liberal counties in Illinois and had to do a double take.
Even if it were true (I mean I guess there’s 102 counties so it’d be top 15% liberal easy) it will never not be weird to me

Re the Raja Election Party drink menu: the thing that’s truly surprising is that they are charging $12.85 for sift drinks. I can see high prices for alcohol(it’s still a cheapskate move), but $13 for a soft drink or water?!!

Some surprising results in the 13th IL House District. The Meta/DraftKings candidate is towards the bottom, and an unknown is at the top. This district surprised us all last time there was a primary too.
