Congratulations Exelon!

HEAL the Budget

Through a penny-per-ounce tax on sugary drinks, the Healthy Eating Active Living (HEAL) Act would generate an estimated $600 million annually to invest in community health programs supporting healthier nutrition and exercise, and to restore cuts and fund prevention in Medicaid. Legislators can support a healthy and prosperous state by including the substance of the HEAL Act in the FY2016 budget. It’s a win-win for Illinois.
