The event starts at 11:30 at the Sangamo Club. Rauner hasn’t said much about the budget beyond how it’s worse than anybody thought. And the BGA’s Andy Shaw isn’t exactly known for his state budget acumen. But one of the members of Shaw’s “Springfield advisory council” is Mike Lawrence, who has plenty of experience on the issue.
