Chad Hays last night and he told me about a new music festival that’ll be held this September 11-14 near Danville at the 3,000 acre Kennekuk County Park. The promoters of the Phases of the Moon Festival are spending seriously big bucks to bring in Bob Weir and Rat Dog, Widespread Panic, Tedeschi Trucks Band, Leon Russell, Gov’t. Mule, the Chris Robinson Brotherhood and many, many, many more. And this list is just the first round of announcements. I’m told even more announcements are on the way. I’m so there. Peoria has a similar event, but it’s always during session, so I can’t go. This one is not to be missed. * Tedeschi Trucks will play us out…
