The average resident of Illinois could care less about specific policies. Most people have an intense dislike of politics and just want to be assured that if they have a need, it will be addressed. The mere fact that Blago doesn’t live in Springfield is insulting enough to those of us in southern IL. She would come in and in a manner of speaking cut up the credit cards, get the state back to living within it’s means, and then see what can be done in PARTNERSHIP with the legislature to fix revenue growth and pay down the long term debts in a sensible way. Her message is that she respects Illinois, not just Chicago and does nto have her head so far up her rear end to be aware of the big picture of the future of Illinois.
