==McLarty also told (Green Party) conventioneers to keep a list of journalists, and put smiley faces next to the names of reporters that are friendly==
Wow…real cutting edge technology by the Greens!

Hey, if smiley faces work, more power to them!

Interesting story at the SJ-R covering the hypocrisy of the Gov refusing foia requests for Job lists but then doing a presser with franks and using it for a campaign to bully Franks into supporting the capital plan. http://www.sj-r.com/news/x1743992116/Job-lists-were-secret-now-released-by-Blagojevich

Interesting blurb on the “garden” in Englewood. Sounds like Obama’s pal may have pocketed a bundle.

just got back from the debate…Netsch made a more convincing argument than Quinn, the gist of it being the State Constitution isn’t broken, the working relationship of our elected leaders is…

Anonymous45–
I was at the debate and I have to disagree. Ms. Netsch’s argument is not a more convincing one when her solution is to find change, which she seems to admit is necessary, using the same legislative process that she admits is broken.
Also, she is obviously a studied and experienced figure, but some of her “definitive” claims about how the convention will go wrong were just water-cooler speculation. Unfortunately, many people there seemed a bit too mesmerized by her savvy to see the difference.
