* I’m still not sure who, if anyone, “won” the Tribune editorial board debate. But I’m pretty sure who lost. This was posted a few minutes ago by the Quinn campaign

I have no idea what that women is talking about.

  2. - Norseman - Thursday, Sep 11, 14 @ 11:21 am:

I think Slip N’ Sue needs to turn into “Zip it Sue!”

  3. - Belle - Thursday, Sep 11, 14 @ 11:23 am:

They are definitely ‘like-minded’—no matter what else…except about the way he dresses.

  4. - Mike Smythe - Thursday, Sep 11, 14 @ 11:24 am:

Not sure the point of this, but oh well.

  5. - Oswego Willy - Thursday, Sep 11, 14 @ 11:24 am:

(Watched…hand palm to forehead…laugh…laugh and slipped and fell of chair, laughed harder thinking of slipping and falling and Slip and Sue…felt bad until heard height and disagreeing on … clothing).

Boy, that Slip and Sue tipped that Cow out of the park!

  6. - walker - Thursday, Sep 11, 14 @ 11:27 am:

==”The number one thing we disagree on is the way he dresses. Diane and I are working on that.”==

Ok Evelyn, but Bruce is advertising his “Pro-choice” position directly at suburban women, as you speak.

  7. - Oswego Willy - Thursday, Sep 11, 14 @ 11:27 am:

@FakeSlipAndSue - as a lawyer, I speak facts. The fact I had I am utterly unqualified to be a governor wasn’t asked, so no answer #PersonalInjuryLawyersSpeakTruthToo

  8. - Conservative Republican - Thursday, Sep 11, 14 @ 11:28 am:

No question that Vallas is a more polished speaker, but other than garbling a few phrases at the end in a clearly pressured environment, I don’t see how she comes off as so awful. She did OK. She stuck to the message. No silver bullet here.

  11. - QCLib - Thursday, Sep 11, 14 @ 11:30 am:

Oh, that could have been worse… she doesn’t sound great but it’s not like she said anything terrible. She took an easy way out with the policy disagreement and turned it into a little joke. That’s the best she could’ve done there without it turning into something bad.

  12. - QCLib - Thursday, Sep 11, 14 @ 11:32 am:

“Where do we disagree? Well his stance on eliminating the minimum wage is terrible. Beyond that we are likeminded.” #NotGunnaHappen

  15. - And I Approved This Message - Thursday, Sep 11, 14 @ 11:38 am:

When did Sarah Palin move to Illinois?

  16. - Mighty M. Mouse - Thursday, Sep 11, 14 @ 11:39 am:

Ever hear of a sea anchor? A Sea Anchor’s incredible drag practically stops the vessel and allows the crew to passively wait out a storm. This storm will pass by the first week of November. She’ll help Rauner weather the storm and win the election just like Sarah Palin helped John McCain.

  17. - Mike Smythe - Thursday, Sep 11, 14 @ 11:39 am:

Would love to see the unedited comments. She gave a good answer on education and Quinn’s job loses. Seems like good ole Brooke is trying to deflect attention from her debate performance.

    - And I Approved This Message - Thursday, Sep 11, 14 @ 11:38 am:

I’m waiting for her to say that “She can see Glen Ellyn (Russia) from her front porch”

  19. - Nonplussed - Thursday, Sep 11, 14 @ 11:40 am:

Who said this, Evelyn Sanguinetti or the Malibu Stacy doll Lisa Simpson once owned?

    “Don’t ask me, I’m only a girl”

  20. - mytwocents - Thursday, Sep 11, 14 @ 11:42 am:

She’s been called the Sarah Palin of IL and is virulently anti-choice. Rauner has been deliberately vague on issues but Sanguinetti exposes him whenever she speaks - the video would have been better if they juxtaposed the “like-minded” comment with some of her ultra-conservative statements.

  21. - Amalia - Thursday, Sep 11, 14 @ 11:42 am:

“Like minded” so Bruce is in favor of criminalizing abortion. ok, we got it.

she comes off really dippy. and rude. and I cannot abide women who want to change the way a man dresses. what a waste of a woman’s brainpower.

  22. - MrJM - Thursday, Sep 11, 14 @ 11:42 am:

“She’ll help Rauner weather the storm and win the election just like Sarah Palin helped John McCain.”

    I sure hope that’s irony.

  23. - Oswego Willy - Thursday, Sep 11, 14 @ 11:43 am:

@FakeSlipAndSue - during the entire time I kept thinking, “I want to work in a Quinn Administration”. Bruce saw my potential. I am lucky. #QuinnLuckySlipAndSueIsWithBruceToo

  24. - Ducky LaMoore - Thursday, Sep 11, 14 @ 11:44 am:

I really like the comment, “…that is why Bruce hired me.”

    So… what’s he paying you???

  25. - phocion - Thursday, Sep 11, 14 @ 11:45 am:

Meh. If that’s the worst of the clips that Brooke could come up with, it doesn’t look like she did a bad job at the debates. Actually, based on what OW and others here have been saying about her, I expected much worse.

  26. - Oswego Willy - Thursday, Sep 11, 14 @ 11:46 am:

===I really like the comment, “…that is why Bruce hired me.”

@FakeSlipAndSue - I get Merit Pay. Every day I don’t say a Dopey thing, I Merit some Pay. Magically, I only missed 5 days of pay. #HushMoneyTripsUpMagic

  27. - Oswego Willy - Thursday, Sep 11, 14 @ 11:50 am:

@FakeSlipAndSue - to tell the truth, Diana Rauner was unavailable to be there, so Bruce had no choice to bring me. #ChoicesHaveConsequences

  28. - Oswego Willy - Thursday, Sep 11, 14 @ 11:53 am:

@FakeSlipAndSue - Meh, Paul Vallas isn’t that tough. I’m not afraid to face him. I’m afraid of the slick floors at the Capitol, but not of Paul #RubberBottomShoes

  29. - Levois - Thursday, Sep 11, 14 @ 11:53 am:

Wow! She’s the archetypal running mate isn’t she?

  30. - Willie Stark - Thursday, Sep 11, 14 @ 11:54 am:

Mitt Rauner and Sarah Sanguinetti. Combining the best of the 2008 & 2012 national campaigns into one potent Illinois duo. Looks like the GOP really did learn the lessons of the last 8 years. 2016 ought to be a hoot!

  31. - Oswego Willy - Thursday, Sep 11, 14 @ 11:57 am:

@FakeSlipAndSue - Bruce got mad, asked “Hey, where was all that magic I hear of when I got asked specifics?” Told him it only works in doorways #BedknobsAndBroomstickMagic

  32. - VanillaMan - Thursday, Sep 11, 14 @ 11:59 am:

    Gentlemen, remember your manners.

Try to avoid looking like a bunch of obsessive sexists who are snarking and insulting the only woman on either gubernatorial ticket.

    LOL

  33. - Gooner - Thursday, Sep 11, 14 @ 12:03 pm:

    Vanilla Man,

Pointing out that she is an embarrassment does not make people sexist.

In fact, your charge that she needs special protection is pretty sexist.

  34. - Oswego Willy - Thursday, Sep 11, 14 @ 12:06 pm:

@FakeJasonPlummer - hey, - VanillaMan -, where were you when OW attacked me for being utterly unqualified on my merits? #LookingAtQualificationsNotGender

  35. - downstate commissioner - Thursday, Sep 11, 14 @ 12:07 pm:

“Gentlemen, remember your manners.” Sexism has nothing to do with it… This is a POLITICAL forum…

  36. - Oswego Willy - Thursday, Sep 11, 14 @ 12:09 pm:

@FakeSlipAndSue - thanks - VanillaMan -, as a 4′11″ lawyer who speaks truth, does magic, believes in Co-Governors and sues govts, you “get” me #GetMeMoreSnarkNow

  37. - Oswego Willy - Thursday, Sep 11, 14 @ 12:14 pm:

  38. - Then again... - Thursday, Sep 11, 14 @ 12:15 pm:

=I don’t see how she comes off as so awful. She did OK. She stuck to the message.=

I agree… Certainly doesn’t come off wonky like Vallas, but I don’t think that’s her role here. She did absolutely no harm to the campaign, unlike Vallas who can’t decide if anyone is too rich to be Governor.

She’s there to soften the image. Accomplished.

  39. - VanillaMan - Thursday, Sep 11, 14 @ 12:16 pm:

I don’t care about the tax records. I want a complete physical and no more bike riding after election before I consider voting GOP. It’s 1 thing to lt. gov. and cut ribbons. It’s another to end up with the big job. Current office holder case in point.

Never asked her height, never asked get job.

Slip and Sue thinks being 4′11″ is important. She says so.

@FakeSlipAndSue - tweeting is fun, it’s the only time the campaign lets me say things Dopey without having to fix it #CampaignFollowsOnTwitter&Everywhere

  44. - Louis G Atsaves - Thursday, Sep 11, 14 @ 12:21 pm:

I actually thought she was the only candidate in the room that day that didn’t play the outrageous mudslinging game perpetrated by Quinn, Vallas and yes, Rauner.

And that made her clueless? No. Nervous? Yes. Anyone pass any notes to her? No.

Female candidates for office have it tougher. If she went toe to toe with Vallas/Quinn, she would be described as a clueless shrieker. By remaining above the fray, I think she elevated herself from completely unknown to being an adult.

  45. - Louis G Atsaves - Thursday, Sep 11, 14 @ 12:22 pm:

Not sure who won the debate Rich? You polled your readership yesterday, and they overwhelmingly voted “Rauner.”

  46. - Oswego Willy - Thursday, Sep 11, 14 @ 12:23 pm:

@FakeSlipAndSue - OW doesn’t have pictures of me, I saw in my crystal ball. He will however have good luck on Monday, and Blue will be important to him Tuesday #VannillaMan

You are that kid who wore the funny clothes, no one sat next to at lunch, and had a pretend friend, weren’t you?

We don’t treat women like you did Mr. Plummer. If you really want to go out on a date with a woman, you have to treat them differently.

    Just saying.

  51. - VanillaMan - Thursday, Sep 11, 14 @ 12:29 pm:

But then, perhaps we don’t want you having offspring.

  52. - Arthur Andersen - Thursday, Sep 11, 14 @ 12:30 pm:

Way to go Brooke. We might have forgotten about your bumbling candidate and your arrogant intervention but you gave us something to keep the memories alive another day.

    Vanilla and Oswego,

Can you two exchange info and go yell at each other someplace else?

A lot of us follow the comments because many people who comment are interesting.

You two typing about how much you dislike each other is not interesting.

  55. - Oswego Willy - Thursday, Sep 11, 14 @ 12:32 pm:

@FakeSlipAndSue - it appears - VanillaMan - wants you to vote for me ’cause I’m pretty. According to - VM -, qualifications don’t matter. #RunningOnSmilesAndRainbows

  56. - VanillaMan - Thursday, Sep 11, 14 @ 12:38 pm:

    Dude
    I am VanillaMan.
I’m going to protect the ladies, even the ones with banjos - I am no partisan with my defense of them. It isn’t easy being a lady candidate and we have a lot of very odd men, especially in the world of politics, who are like gorillas with bagpipes.

This was a reminder to keep it civil. When you see a woman in need - you help. When you see a lady candidate in need - you don’t throw her an anchor. You don’t comment on her physical stature, you don’t comment on her make-up, you don’t insult her.

It doesn’t matter which party. You mess with our ladies, you mess with us gentlemen too.

  57. - Amalia - Thursday, Sep 11, 14 @ 12:38 pm:

@Louis Atsaves….adult? you must be joking. yes, female candidates have it more difficult in certain ways….I’ll be sure to remind you of that when Hillary comes under your attack…..but there’s performance that is gubernatorial or presidential and she did not display that. talking about dressing the candidate with his wife sounded ridiculous. then again, any candidate who would pick a running mate who would talk like that about them also needs a head examination.

  58. - Amalia - Thursday, Sep 11, 14 @ 12:40 pm:

@Vanilla Man, there is no such thing as a lady candidate just as there is no such thing as a male candidate. Careful when you try to defend. it can come off as paternalistic.

  59. - too obvious - Thursday, Sep 11, 14 @ 12:46 pm:

    She is absolutely horrible.

If Quinn would be indicted (he won’t be), we get Vallas, the same guy Rauner really wanted.

If Rauner is indicted, we get someone who is clearly in way, way over her head.

At a minimum, can’t the handlers even get her to stop all the tomahawk chopping with her hands and arms? Unbelievable.

  60. - Oswego Willy - Thursday, Sep 11, 14 @ 12:46 pm:

===When you see a lady candidate in need - you don’t throw her an anchor.===

    Politics. Ain’t. Beanbag.

Slip and Sue wants the same job as Jason wanted.

Both - utterly unqualified to lead the 5th largest state in America.

She chose to run, no one forced her. No one said, “talk about magic, Co-Governors”

She is the daughter of immigrants, and can’t get face time at the podium to talk about it, I mean, she was there!

The campaign has Ads with Diana Rauner to soften Bruce, thanks, not his running mate.

So if she can’t speak about her conservative views, immigration, how government actually works, thinks her height makes her feisty, thinks her job is to work with Bruce’s wife to pick out clothes…

…shouldn’t you be protecting Illinois from having her next in live to be governor?

  61. - Norseman - Thursday, Sep 11, 14 @ 12:48 pm:

    === 4′11″ lawyer ===

I guess that’s one reason most of us can look down on this candidate.

  62. - VanillaMan - Thursday, Sep 11, 14 @ 12:54 pm:

@Vanilla Man, there is no such thing as a lady candidate just as there is no such thing as a male candidate. Careful when you try to defend. it can come off as paternalistic.

I do often admire how you can take care of yourself around here.

===I do often admire how you can take care of yourself around here.===

    Can you elaborate?

  64. - Sunshine - Thursday, Sep 11, 14 @ 12:58 pm:

I like her. She looked strong. I also like Rauner.

  65. - wordslinger - Thursday, Sep 11, 14 @ 1:20 pm:

VMan, are you going to do anything today to earn your taxpayer paycheck? Or are you going to play out your Sir Walter Raleigh fantasy?

  66. - Anon - Thursday, Sep 11, 14 @ 1:23 pm:

    ===Can you elaborate?===

Please don’t. We got the picture, guys. You’re not going to agree. Let’s de-personalize between you guys and move on.

  67. - Mcleaniac - Thursday, Sep 11, 14 @ 1:24 pm:

Well, it is obvious that this woman is not fit to serve as the Governor of Illinois. I was voting for Rauner - but now I am not. I have been in denial for months - telling myself that Sanguinetti is not so bad - etc..but seriously - she is nonsensical in the classic definition of the term ! I think Rauner really messed up picking her as a running mate. Rauner will probably win despite my vote for Quinn, but no way can I support a ticket that has this dingbat just a heartbeat away from the Governorship.

  68. - Oswego Willy - Thursday, Sep 11, 14 @ 1:26 pm:

===Please don’t. We got the picture, guys. You’re not going to agree. Let’s de-personalize between you guys and move on.===

It’s not personal, I want to know, so I asked.

  70. - Chicago Cynic - Thursday, Sep 11, 14 @ 1:50 pm:

She comes across as just a bit unhinged. I talk with my hands too, but that woman was just frenetic with her gestures. Yeesh. Can we get Rauner’s medical file just to make sure there’s no chance of that woman becoming governor?

  71. - Precinct Captain - Thursday, Sep 11, 14 @ 1:53 pm:

    ==- Oswego Willy - Thursday, Sep 11, 14 @ 12:21 pm:==

Apparently it’s too much to expect someone to have watched the video so that they get the comments as VanillaMan has repeatedly demonstrated.

  72. - A guy... - Thursday, Sep 11, 14 @ 2:09 pm:

I really did watch this 3 times before making this comment. If the Quinn team released this as a negative salvo, I’m missing what the big point is. She did fine. I watched the whole thing in context and this package of snippets isn’t the least bit embarrassing at all. No one passed her notes or corrected her posture or whispered in her ear. I don’t get this one.

  73. - phocion - Thursday, Sep 11, 14 @ 2:22 pm:

Of course, Mcleaniac. You were really going to vote for Rauner but for this clip of his running mate. Now why don’t you go back to your job licking stamps for the Quinn campaign. Dope.

  74. - Oswego Willy - Thursday, Sep 11, 14 @ 2:25 pm:

    - Precinct Captain -,

I think you clarified a great deal.

===No one passed her notes or corrected her posture or whispered in her ear. I don’t get this one.===

    All true.

She also said she and Diana are working on Bruce’s clothes.

Not inspiring to think she believes she can be governor of the 5th largest state, no matter her height, her career and speaking facts/truths, and she thinks she got hired, for what I don’t know, Quinn didn’t hire her, so she could be stuck on that…

…she is still peddling this partner/co-governor spiel, putting that Dopey “co-governor, when Bruce isn’t around” mess she made out there again.

Nothing seen in context, or in this package makes the case she is capable.

  75. - NewWestSuburbanGOP'er - Thursday, Sep 11, 14 @ 2:26 pm:

I’ve said it before and I will say it again…. a heartbeat away from the Governor’s office. This says alot about Rauner. How could he possibly pick somebody so UNQUALIFIED?

This should be one of the many reasons to NOT vote for Rauner!!

  76. - NewWestSuburbanGOP'er - Thursday, Sep 11, 14 @ 2:28 pm:

For crying out loud, Rep.Ives has better qualifications!

  79. - Louis G Atsaves - Thursday, Sep 11, 14 @ 2:37 pm:

@amalia: You won’t see me making fun of Hillary’s hair style, dress or clothing, tone of speech, her size, shape, use of hands while speaking and other “atrocities” OW and others bring up. I’ll stick to the quality of the candidate and their positions. That includes how I treat Hillary.

I give Sanguinetti credit for trying to inject a little humor to try to ramp down the major hatred in that room among the male candidates (dressing up her governor candidate, being 4′11″). Vallas to his credit seemed to get the joke and followed up about making fun of his own appearance.

Again, she in my opinion acted more like an adult than the other three. If you feel she is unqualified for office, then do it non-OW style.

And by the way, if my count is correct, OW has roughly 1/3 of the postings in the comment section right about now. Chill out dude! Chill!

  80. - Oswego Willy - Thursday, Sep 11, 14 @ 2:42 pm:

@FakeSlipAndSue - hey Louis, don’t you have some petitions to worry about?

===Again, she in my opinion acted more like an adult than the other three. If you feel she is unqualified for office, then do it non-OW style.===

    I call it “Plummering”…

She brought up her height, I didn’t.

Funny thing about…humor…lacking the knowledge of running Illinois isn’t a laughing matter.

Slip and Sue is getting what Jason got. I treat them as equals, they both were nominated, I made my case, now the snark is for…fun.

@ Vanilla Man ….”I do often admire how you can take care of yourself around here.” generally speaking, no one would make such a comment about a man. but perhaps you will do that now, so that I can thank you about noticing how I roll.

    It may be something else…

  89. - MrJM - Thursday, Sep 11, 14 @ 3:52 pm:

Dear Arizona Bob: seriously? you think that is appropriate talk about a candidate even in jest? you are hereby sentenced to reading the new book from U.S. Senator Kirsten Gillibrand. I refer you to Southern Senators with whom you have too much in common.

  94. - JS Mill - Thursday, Sep 11, 14 @ 6:05 pm:

Well done Amalia, if we are to believe we are all equal we need to treat one another equally, expect the same from each other. Patronizing women diminishes them.

The point of the video seems to be to mock the candidate and portray her as unqualified. Watching the “debate” live I found her comments the least productive, pretty low bar for what was basically name calling. Were I Rauner I would have looked to a host of other better qualified candidates. If he specifically wanted a female Latina running mate there are many others qualified for the job that can communicate information without sounding goofy.

  95. - Tom Joad - Thursday, Sep 11, 14 @ 6:51 pm:

What her and Bruce have in common is that neither one will answer a question that is asked.

  96. - Oswego Willy - Thursday, Sep 11, 14 @ 7:15 pm:

    To the Post,

When I watched the (debate, forum, roundtable) I wasn’t impressed with Evelyn.

This video, by taking her snippets, was designed to either introduce her to those who don’t know her, or to let Evelyn’s own words make a decision about her, if you at least knew of her, and that’s fair game, considering Evelyn’s availability since a few missteps have been limited.

    ————————–

If the Rauner Crew wants to help her, then get her in positions where she can shine, so her background and qualifications only reinforce the visual incompetency video(s) like this highlight.

Less “personality” and no more “hired me” and height.

Utilize a Jil Tracy before the Vallas debate. Honestly take 7 full, 10 hour days, just on the workings of government. Vallas as a wonk, the second cutesy phrases try to explain away a lack of knowledge, Vallas will own the shared stage.

Please help her to understand that 1:40 seconds of answering here will not be nearly enough to hold her own with Vallas.

This video, this is not the nominee facing Vallas, one on one.

You can’t teach seasoning. You can’t teach past experiences. You can be prepared, you can be instructed on understanding the wonkish way of government. But you have to teach it, abc it has to want to be learned.

    Get Eveyln on the classroom.

If you aren’t hurting you’re helping…30-60 minutes of this 1:40 will not be helping. Helping her, helps Bruce. Yeah, it matters.

  97. - gg - Thursday, Sep 11, 14 @ 7:15 pm:

I am not voting for Bruce …
Tom … why don’t you do it in the road?

  98. - Oswego Willy - Thursday, Sep 11, 14 @ 7:21 pm:

“If the Rauner Crew wants to help her, then get her in positions where she can shine, so her background and qualifications don’t reinforce the visual incompetency video(s) like this highlight.”

    Stupid phone.

  99. - Lt. Guv - Thursday, Sep 11, 14 @ 7:49 pm:

    Thank you Amilia, well said.

Now, as far as the clip, well, “I am not a witch.”

I don’t say that in a way other than she’s not ready for prime time. If she has statewide ambition, she’d do well to run for the legislature and get a feel for the cauldron that is Springfield.

  100. - Mary Sunshine - Thursday, Sep 11, 14 @ 9:26 pm:

All she has to add to the discussion is echoing the wife’s embarrassing joke about Bruce’s clothing?! It’s 2014. Insulting.

  101. - Jerry Hubbard - Thursday, Sep 11, 14 @ 9:29 pm:

I read the comments before watching the video. Having now watched the video, the criticisms don’t really match up. If these were the worst snippets the Quinn camp could find out of all the footage of Sanguinetti, I’m not concerned in the least.

She and Rauner are like-minded that this state has been run into the ground by career politicians like Quinn and Madigan, and it’s time to try new ideas to promote job growth in Illinois.

Where can we find the full video of the Tribune meeting? I tried their website to no avail.

  102. - Yellow Dog Democrat - Thursday, Sep 11, 14 @ 10:31 pm:

    Jerry -

She is extremely conservative on social issues.

Rauner is trying to run to the middle. Thus, the new ads with women claiming he is pro-choice and essentially supports gay marriage.

That is the whole point of the clip.

  103. - Arizona Bob - Friday, Sep 12, 14 @ 7:43 am:

    @Amalia
If you don’t think that physical attractiveness plays a role in voter support for a candidate, you know nothing about politics. Same goes in hiring practices in business. An attractive job seeker will almost always have an advantage over one who may be better qualified but not so good looking.

After all, do you really think that Rich Miller would so successful if he wasn’t such a handsome guy?

  104. - Jerry Hubbard - Friday, Sep 12, 14 @ 8:33 am:

    YDD…
Of the issues that are foremost in Illinois voters: Jobs, Economy, Corruption….Rauner and Sanguinetti are like-minded. Nothing more to it than that!

  105. - Oswego Willy - Friday, Sep 12, 14 @ 8:37 am:

===Rauner and Sanguinetti are like-minded. Nothing more to it than that!===

    Wow, you’ll believe anything.

If they are like-minded, let’s talk about all the social issues an “Co-Governing” that Evelyn believe she will be doing…

That’s right, there is no discussion on that, and Rauner’s Crew had to clean up the Slip and Sue mess of “Co-Governors” and when Bruce is away, she will be there in his stead…

Besides the fact she isn’t qualified… lol

  106. - Mike Smythe - Friday, Sep 12, 14 @ 8:56 am:

Willy like him some career politicians in the qualification category. The fact she is not a Springfield insider is a qualification.

  107. - Amalia - Friday, Sep 12, 14 @ 9:11 am:

@Arizona Bob, “I STILL think she’s hot!” sounds like a hiring practice designed to get you pulled into HR where they tell you that you have been delivered with a civil suit.

I await your commentary on the relative hotness of any of the several candidates running in elections this cycle.

  108. - Oswego Willy - Friday, Sep 12, 14 @ 9:12 am:

    - Mike Smythe -,

    Nah.

I like people qualified for jobs, speak realistically to what they can/will do. If you think a 2 year city councilman is prepared to run the 5th largest state in America, if need be, plus her Dopiness, wow, I hope you check out your doctor better when you are ill.

How will they freeze property taxes, increase school spending, increase infrastructure upgrades, and not raise income taxes?

    Yikes.

  109. - Mike Smythe - Friday, Sep 12, 14 @ 9:30 am:

Almost a four year councilman . Her term expires in May 2015. She has been all over the state the last year meeting voters, giving speeches, and interviews. You are still stuck with your October 2013 line of attack.
The fact that the left is trying to paint her as a right wing nut job is revealing. They are worried about the women’s vote and the Hispanic vote. After all, just two years ago Obama was against same sex marriage, and he is hardly a right wing nut.

  110. - Oswego Willy - Friday, Sep 12, 14 @ 9:36 am:

===The fact that the left is trying to paint her as a right wing nut job is revealing.===

Is she Pro-Life? What is HER position?

=== They are worried about the women’s vote and the Hispanic vote. After all, just two years ago Obama was against same sex marriage, and he is hardly a right wing nut.===

I am excited for you, you got to inject Obama in your narrative. Congrats.

You think a single-term city councilman can be the Executive if a state with a $35 billion dollar budget, handle the passing of a budget through a General Assembly, and run state agencies after her controversial stop sign votes?

    Good grief.

–Of the issues that are foremost in Illinois voters: Jobs, Economy, Corruption….Rauner and Sanguinetti are like-minded.–

Let me guess: they’re for jobs and a growing economy and against corruption?

What else do you need to know?
