Brian Wilson was determined to make a better record than Rubber Soul, so out came Pet Sounds. It is, of course, an extremely influential album and this is one of the best opening tracks on any album in my opinion.
Caught the Brian Wilson and Friends on PBS this past weekend. Some grey hair and wrinkles but the sound and the magic of the Beach Boys was still there and no auto-tone. Gotta love it. Love this song too.
One of the best out there, from one of the best albums. Sad memories, though, of the courting I did with my now ex-wife. But still a great song, as per usual, Rich.

I absolutely love when Rich starts the day off with a musical choice.
To the Post,
Timeless.
There is just some music, or specific songs, or albums as a work, that are just timeless. The genius isn’t lost on me.

Haven’t listened to that in a LONG time. It was the theme of our High School Prom 1985. Thanks for the memory!
