Gotta correct this one. It’s Jim Nabors and it’s “Back Home in Indiana”.

“Going once, twice, sold to the man in the front eating an apple”. Next up for auction….

Then you do the hokey pokey and you turn it all around…..

  43. - Gooner - Thursday, May 14, 15 @ 2:13 pm:

He looks like he’s leading a chorus. Sometimes the Gov. seems a bit clueless. For some reason, I can see him leading the group in this song, oblivious to the words:

“I’ve always been a hardworking man
I’ve always been a hardworking man
I’ve always been a hardworking man
I’ve lived my life the best way I can

I’ve always been a damn good union man
I’ve always been a damn good union man
I’ve always been a damn good union man
I’ve lived my life the best way I can

I’ve been a seaman, electrician, and in construction too
On assembly lines and factories and did some farming too
Fought company scabs, union-busting laws, walked many a picket line
For musicians, electricians, and workers in the mines

So when I die throw my ashes to the winds
When I die throw my ashes to the winds
When I die throw my ashes to the winds
I’ve lived my life the best way I can
Proud to live my life the best way I can”

  51. - OneMan - Thursday, May 14, 15 @ 2:42 pm:

Well you can tell ev’ryone I’m a down disgrace

You can tell ev’rybody ’bout the state I’m in
You won’t catch me crying ‘cos I just can’t win.

    I don’t care anymore I don’t care anymore

I don’t care what you say
I don’t play the same games you play.

‘Cos I’ve been talking to the people that you call your friends
And it seems to me there’s a means to and end.

    They don’t care anymore.

And as for me I can sit here and bide my time
I got nothing to lose if I speak my mind.
    I don’t care anymore I don’t care no more

When I finish, there will be no media availability.

  60. - LINK - Thursday, May 14, 15 @ 4:02 pm:

It’s not well known that the Governor has taken to addressing the little people visiting the Capital with his stirring rendition of, “If I only had a heart”.

    tick tock tick tock

At the end of the busy day in the Capitol, I’m guessing neither the Gov. nor the collective genius-pod I call BRU-CREW has the brains to deal properly with RTW, which would begin with:

“I get the message.” - BRU-CREW spox quoting Gov. Rauner

  69. - Sick of It All - Thursday, May 14, 15 @ 5:11 pm:

And a one and a two - come on Mikey and Johnny, please PLAY with me! Let’s have harmony and sing from the same songbook - pretty pleeeeeze…?????
