  1. - Keyrock - Monday, Aug 29, 16 @ 12:17 pm:

It’s about time Dr. Rauner had some long-form interviews with a couple of serious reporters about her own actions and views. It is disappointing that she is willing to be a prop at public events, but not answer to the public or face up to the consequences of her own choices.

  2. - PublicServant - Monday, Aug 29, 16 @ 12:18 pm:

You think sharing a bottle of Wine made you one of us? Please! How you like Bruce now, Rahm?

  3. - Oswego Willy - Monday, Aug 29, 16 @ 12:20 pm:

Diana Rauner is smiling at a Pritzker, realizing the $5 million they gave The Ounce was a wonderful “business decision” for The Ounce, and to help Diana save face.

  4. - Oswego Willy - Monday, Aug 29, 16 @ 12:24 pm:

Diana smiles mockingly at the people she calls a “business decision”…

  5. - Huh? - Monday, Aug 29, 16 @ 12:30 pm:

What do I care, you believed me when I said he didn’t have a social agenda.

  6. - Oswego Willy - Monday, Aug 29, 16 @ 12:31 pm:

Diana Rauner is all smiles as she plays prop, placating anyone’s thinking of her as self-centered, cold, and callous towards those her husband wants hurt.

  7. - Huh? - Monday, Aug 29, 16 @ 12:33 pm:

When Bruce gets tired of playing governor, we are still going to be fabulously wealthy and there isn’t a thing you can do about it.

  8. - Huh? - Monday, Aug 29, 16 @ 12:36 pm:

That $20 million Bruce is dropping on the IHOP, that was his lunch money for 3 months. That story about me being upset about his spending it was all for show.

  9. - JS Mill - Monday, Aug 29, 16 @ 12:37 pm:

If you read through some of the new “suggestions” that will accompany the new, very lucrative, competitive application process for ECE/pre-school funding, it looks as if it is written for groups like Ounce. Seems like a conflict of interest to me.

    What say you Dr. Rauner?

  10. - Jocko - Monday, Aug 29, 16 @ 12:52 pm:

Relishing her role as prop, Mrs. Rauner enjoys a second career in the new book series “Where’s Diana?”

  11. - Oswego Willy - Monday, Aug 29, 16 @ 1:00 pm:

    HBO - “Dad’s Home State” - Season 2, Episode 37

Bruce visits schools downstate to praise programs, doesn’t realize he refused to fund those programs. Diana, to help placate her boredom decides to go to press conferences to mock the protesters. Diana’s State Employee tells press Diana is there to help, happily. Lance tweets pictures of vintage motorcycles to Rep. Lou Lang, “ck” sends out emails listing all things Bruce forgot he doesn’t fund anyone. Goldberg writes a letter to Rahm about how telephone work. Comedy, 59 minutes.

  12. - Anonymous - Monday, Aug 29, 16 @ 2:26 pm:

    Mr/Ms OW
Ya forgot the block on how Mrs. got another weekend “off” in the ‘burbs while BigBrain hangs with bike buddies.

  13. - Huh? - Monday, Aug 29, 16 @ 2:31 pm:

Yeah, I know she is laughing at me behind my back.

  14. - Oswego Willy - Monday, Aug 29, 16 @ 2:37 pm:

    - Anonymous -

I think the writers have that in a 90-minute DuQuoin Fair episode, that might have a coming of age theme, with a Scooby-Doo ending. Lots of quibbling over it in the writers’ room.

    To the Post,

Diana Rauner gleefully laughs as Mayor Emanuel call her a strong advocate for whatever she puts her mind to.

  15. - crazybleedingheart - Monday, Aug 29, 16 @ 3:48 pm:

“Another thing I have in common with the Governor: my favorite thing about Mrs. Rauner is how easy it is to hide behind her.”

  16. - 47th Ward - Monday, Aug 29, 16 @ 4:40 pm:

Crap, she’s standing right behind me, isn’t she?

  17. - Rich Miller - Monday, Aug 29, 16 @ 6:07 pm:

I shoulda gone with the Goldberg birthday caption contest instead.

  18. - Ahoy! - Monday, Aug 29, 16 @ 8:25 pm:

They could go fishing, so much betterthan frozen fish.

  19. - NorthsideNoMore - Monday, Aug 29, 16 @ 9:20 pm:

Little Rahmie come on over to our palace and I will bake you some cookies…Bruce will be along soon with a nice bottle or two of really good red we can all share a few laughs and eat my fresh chippers.

  20. - jls - Monday, Aug 29, 16 @ 9:56 pm:

    Ha Ha!

  21. - DuPage Bard - Monday, Aug 29, 16 @ 11:09 pm:

D.R.- Played him like a fiddle.

  22. - Huh? - Tuesday, Aug 30, 16 @ 8:47 am:

Diana Rainer is all smiles as her prop dives in front of a pointed question from the media.

  23. - @MisterJayEm - Tuesday, Aug 30, 16 @ 1:55 pm:

    “Family’s off limits, man.”
