No caption, but this graphic along with the language of the editorial suggest that the creators are trying to work out something personal that has nothing to do with returning to a semblance of responsible governing.
Seriously, until this very day, in all my 53 years, I never had visions of Madigan/Cullerton, ballroom dancin’, twerkin’, or shaggin’.
I could have lived another 53 years without that mental image.
To whoever came up with it — good luck. It gets better, I hope.
Echoing Wordslinger’s point - just like with Dan Proft, and others of his ilk, they seem to sublimate anger about personal matters with which they are grappling into their politics. I’d encourage them to step back from the politics and instead find a supportive community that can help them come to peace with who they really are. Better for them and better for the rest of us.
Cullerton rightly gets credit for being a heck of a dancer, but Madigan doesn’t get enough, especially when you consider he had to dance it all backwards, while wearing heels. That’s not easy folks.
The Lord’s day and we get to see this? Frankly the picture is not with Rauner who cannot seem to dance to anything thing except campaigning non stop, but unable to govern. I had to admit at least Madigan can say he has produced budgets and red ink. Rauner cannot produce anything period.

Personally, I’m just glad someone is dancing, rather than just sitting in an immaculate workshop, playing with a roll of duct tape.

In the Senate we’ve mastered the Dip.

Also, it appears that the Belleville News-Democrat is in the market for someone with more than a week of Photoshop experience.
