    If you have not watched already - Tiger King is the best dumpster fire we all need in our lives right now.

    Sorry, I missed the corona virus free part.

    IDNR needs to open the trails at our state parks. Now that we have at least another month of isolation…. it is vital for folks to get outside to enjoy the spring weather. Here in Jo Daviess County, we have the Jo Daviess Conservation Foundation with several natural areas & trails that are open to the public.

    there was a musician fundraising tv show on Sunday on Fox that I found completely fun. the acts played from their home, they had to showcase their talent in a different way, use of Zoom, and provided me with the great moment of my husband wondering about Billie Eilish. “is this what the kids are into? the soft talking?”

    I bought a new car this month and am in awe that the bank has sent coupons books. I haven’t had a coupon book since I can’t remember when.

    With few cars, trucks and airplanes, I hear more birds. Lots of them. And its spring migration, so there are wider varieties. Open your windows and give a listen.

    On a flight home today. The airports are eerily quiet with mostly people who need to travel. I am on a 50 seat aircraft, 6 passengers. 3 are airline personnel who had a flight canceled.

    If you are among those who must fly, bring sanitizer wipes for the seat. Bring your own food and beverage as food service is no longer available. Beverage service is limited so buy something after you clear security. Be nice to the flight crews, they are doing the best they can in a difficult time.

    @MPCA

    Tiger King is a lovely freak show to gawk at until you get to Episode 5, when it gets real dark, real quick.

    Took a drive around town last night, and a real short walk this morning. Just getting a different visual really helps.

    Been pulling up old landscape photos and posting to Facebook as a reminder of the trips we’ve taken.

    Going to try to do a bit of yardwork later today. Time to go cook my breakfast.

    @ChrisB

    Episodes 5-7 get so dark because of how salacious some of these characters are in real life.

  11. - Give Me A Break - Tuesday, Mar 31, 20 @ 10:23 am:

    Lovie Smith has not lost a game in bit. So we got that going for us.

  12. - Marquee - Tuesday, Mar 31, 20 @ 10:24 am:

    After election day, Tony Munoz was up by about 200 votes for 12th ward committeeman. Now, after almost all the vote by mail ballots have been counted, he is down by 21 to George Cardenas.

  13. - Because I said so.... - Tuesday, Mar 31, 20 @ 10:44 am:

    Tiger King gets darker???

    I had to turn off episode 3 because I couldn’t handle it any longer. It’s an absolute train wreck and now you have peaked my interest. Thanks a lot!

    As an essential employee Tiger King is the only thing that has saved my sanity thus far!! Where’s your husband Carole???

    Interesting article in today’s Bloomington Pantagraph about the Jake at State Farm ads.

    “Jake” is actually a real Jake who works at State Farm’s Bloomington offices.

    The wife in one of the Jake ads was born in Champaign-Urbana, but now lives in LA:

    Will the Bears go after Cam Newton and make it a three way competition for starting QB?

    -Where’s your husband Carole???-

    Two words - sardine oil.

    Working from home is hard. Every cue is your environment says you are not at work. Only the screen on your laptop says otherwise.
