Please leave the bear alone. If it gets accustomed to humans and loses fear it will become a nuisance and will end up being put down. If you want to see a bear, go to the zoo.
I truly can’t believe JB went ahead with Phase 4 when so many other states are rolling openings back! We are throwing away all the good work IL has done in stopping the spread! TX just closed all bars again. This was a very bad decision.
2020 owes us, a lot. So, starting July 1, 2020 needs to get the act together and start with the sunshine, unicorns and rainbows. Or at the least stop with the COVID thing and Play Ball.
=TX just closed all bars again. This was a very bad decision.=
Texas reopened with no plan and they’re paying the price. Pritzker has been clear on the measurements and metrics that would support a reopening and has been consistent. We’ve met the federal guidelines as well as our own state guidelines. And if we slip Pritzker seems willing to reassess things. Very different than what has been happening in Texas and other sates.
Agree with Keri. The Governor has been more knowledgeable, involved, and transparent than most, if not all, governors. Metrics are useful to tell us where we are today, but not as an accurate forecaster. Governors must withstand tremendous pressure - but opening Phase 4 may be one Decision JB will regret. I’m sure Abbot does.

Oh great, it’s going to be raining mud on my daughter’s outdoor wedding.

For those in Central Illinois, a shooting occurred about an hour ago at the Bunn-O-Matic warehouse in Springfield. Reports are a disgruntled worker. Hope all stay safe

Has the Federal Government cut off funding for COVID 19 testing?

Case numbers are ticking up. Wear your mask.

An unusually large Saharan dust cloud is supposed to hit Illinois this weekend or thereabouts. It just figures, for 2020.

Think of it as another reason to wear your mask.
