Stay home mostly, just shop on line. Complete the transaction before leaving home, they load the trunk and close the trunk when they are done.
So far so good, everything I ordered has been there.
I was doing fine until I saw Lou Hensen passed away. One of the classiest head coaches there was. 1989 season haunted him as he had the best team in nation at that moment
Still working from home, resisting going in. Employer doing a very good job of insuring the good health of those going back in. No more than 1/3 of employees at one time, intense precautions and procedures in place. Since March, been on a bus twice, never on a train, in a grocery once. Long walks. Super cautious; really old.
All is well here. Social distancing hurts with family and friends but we are doing well. We’re practicing gratitude and redesigning our future plans. One day at a time, helping as many as we can along the way.
I can now read newspapers in Spanish and German. This is depressing because they have handled the virus so much better and are upset about a second wave because they have numbers that look pretty paltry compared to most of the US states.
I am well. Work is still busy for the most part. Remarkably with all the travel, and being in hospitals have not even had the sniffles. I feel very lucky.
I’m thinking I want to get my hair trimmed up before we shut down again. It’s been about two years, and the split ends are starting to get to me.
Will probably go back to work after next week, so really need to get a few projects done over the next week.
Also need to swing by work and talk to my boss. He hasn’t texted me, so maybe I’ll get lucky and my return-to-work date will get pushed back…

Sad to see Old North Pancake House is going out of business due to Covid-19 extended shutdown. They have been there over 40 years.

Not well, some jerk keeps my posts from appearing. Oh well, at least that tells me my points cannot be refuted.

DownstateR, when I lived in Iowa, I was introduced to deep dish pizza with pepperoni, onions, and sauerkraut. Try it (banned punctuation).
For those who want to start razzing me: I was introduced to Hawaiian pizza in college, and I like it, too.

“pizza bagels topped with sauerkraut”… sounds like an explosive combo?

It’s hard, guys. I love my kids, but I am not a trained teaching professional. And they NEVER STOP TALKING.
