  1. - JS Mill - Wednesday, Jul 29, 20 @ 3:03 pm:

As I get closer to the opening of school the volume is cranking up and I am trying to keep my head up.

  2. - Amalia - Wednesday, Jul 29, 20 @ 3:05 pm:

think the aches and pains are from lots of in the house moving but fearful something else. this pandemic works on the mind and the body.

  3. - Nick Name - Wednesday, Jul 29, 20 @ 3:10 pm:

Still working from home. No word on when we’re going back, though I suspect it’ll be a while. I shaved yesterday.

  4. - DuPage - Wednesday, Jul 29, 20 @ 3:23 pm:

Stay home mostly, just shop on line. Complete the transaction before leaving home, they load the trunk and close the trunk when they are done.
So far so good, everything I ordered has been there.

  5. - truthteller - Wednesday, Jul 29, 20 @ 3:24 pm:

I was doing fine until I saw Lou Hensen passed away. One of the classiest head coaches there was. 1989 season haunted him as he had the best team in nation at that moment

  6. - cmgiulini - Wednesday, Jul 29, 20 @ 3:27 pm:

Still working from home, resisting going in. Employer doing a very good job of insuring the good health of those going back in. No more than 1/3 of employees at one time, intense precautions and procedures in place. Since March, been on a bus twice, never on a train, in a grocery once. Long walks. Super cautious; really old.

  7. - Norseman - Wednesday, Jul 29, 20 @ 4:02 pm:

Bad: Suffering from a bad cold. Good: Negative Covid result in 12 hours.

Otherwise Normal, I.e. depressed about all the Covidiocy.

  8. - Froganon - Wednesday, Jul 29, 20 @ 4:03 pm:

All is well here. Social distancing hurts with family and friends but we are doing well. We’re practicing gratitude and redesigning our future plans. One day at a time, helping as many as we can along the way.

  9. - cermak_rd - Wednesday, Jul 29, 20 @ 4:39 pm:

I can now read newspapers in Spanish and German. This is depressing because they have handled the virus so much better and are upset about a second wave because they have numbers that look pretty paltry compared to most of the US states.

  10. - DuPage - Wednesday, Jul 29, 20 @ 4:46 pm:

Sad to see Old North Pancake House is going out of business due to Covid-19 extended shutdown. They have been there over 40 years.

  11. - FormerParatrooper - Wednesday, Jul 29, 20 @ 5:08 pm:

I am well. Work is still busy for the most part. Remarkably with all the travel, and being in hospitals have not even had the sniffles. I feel very lucky.

I hope all of you are well.

  12. - DownstateR - Wednesday, Jul 29, 20 @ 6:00 pm:

Hope all is well. Just having some pizza bagels topped with saurkraut. Don’t knock it. :)

  13. - T - Wednesday, Jul 29, 20 @ 6:36 pm:

Not well, some jerk keeps my posts from appearing. Oh well, at least that tells me my points cannot be refuted.

  14. - Lynn S. - Wednesday, Jul 29, 20 @ 6:37 pm:

DownstateR, when I lived in Iowa, I was introduced to deep dish pizza with pepperoni, onions, and sauerkraut. Try it (banned punctuation).

For those who want to start razzing me: I was introduced to Hawaiian pizza in college, and I like it, too.

  15. - Anonymous - Wednesday, Jul 29, 20 @ 6:40 pm:

“pizza bagels topped with sauerkraut”… sounds like an explosive combo?

  16. - Lynn S. - Wednesday, Jul 29, 20 @ 6:43 pm:

I’m thinking I want to get my hair trimmed up before we shut down again. It’s been about two years, and the split ends are starting to get to me.

Will probably go back to work after next week, so really need to get a few projects done over the next week.

Also need to swing by work and talk to my boss. He hasn’t texted me, so maybe I’ll get lucky and my return-to-work date will get pushed back…

  17. - mary had a little lamb - Wednesday, Jul 29, 20 @ 7:16 pm:

Tested positive for covid 15 days ago. Doing okay right now. milder symptoms, no sense of smell or taste, fever. Exposed at a small family event, stay home everyone

  18. - Suburban Mom - Wednesday, Jul 29, 20 @ 8:35 pm:

It’s hard, guys. I love my kids, but I am not a trained teaching professional. And they NEVER STOP TALKING.
