Ah, February.
When sprouts at Jimmy Johns seemed to be our biggest risk.
Good times.
“The Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH) is working with local health departments, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), and the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) to investigate a multistate outbreak of Escherichia coli O103 (E. coli) linked to sprouts served at Jimmy John’s restaurants. Jimmy John’s notified stores to remove sprouts from its menu nationwide on February 22, 2020.”
==Melaney Arnold at IDPH deserves 100 awards and a year off after this pandemic.==
Couldn’t agree more.
Have been keeping all of them and have incorporated into a book (obviously not yet done) chronicling my pandemic experiences - tentative title. “Tales from the 2019 Pandemic: How My Tribe Saved My Life”
Melaney Arnold is remarkable. She has worked under at least three governors in an environment where Governor’s Office’s always try to micro-manage everything. It’s nice to see her get the recognition she deserves.

We’re not at Golden Horseshoe time yet, but Melaney Arnold at IDPH deserves 100 awards and a year off after this pandemic.

I think that is just the number of days in a month. We all know January and February are just a series of 10 verrrrrrryyyyy long days.

Staggering, the jump in comms and the information in what those numbers represent.
Think on it for a moment.
These aren’t 31, 32, 33 releases touting a day of recognition, these are releases where information and critical news are transferred.
Yeoman’s work, Melaney Arnold and ALL comms folks working with Melaney Arnold.
Once a week, to once a day.
That’s the jump, and it’s not filler.

Wasn’t Arnold spox for IDPH during the Quincy Veteran’s Home cover-up?
Let’s not get crazy with the praisey.
