How many more will be sacrificed on the altar of negligent greed?

Has anyone heard anything about Region 6? Rumor last week was that either over the weekend or early this week we were going to have to take mitigation measures. I’ve been watching the news but haven’t heard anything except that IDPH was monitoring us closely.

Region 6 sans Champaign county is hovering around 7.5%
If it goes above 8% for 3 days mitigations will begin.

“How many more will be sacrificed on the altar of negligent greed?”
There are still coaches and parents screaming for their “God given right to play HS football” so I’m thinking we are ways off from people failing to be willing to sacrifice others to make themselves happy.

I am trying to figure out what defines negligent greed and exactly what are essential services.

The CDC now says the novel coronavirus can spread more than 6 feet through the air, especially in poorly ventilated and enclosed spaces.

Should IDPH be publishing 2 sets of positivity rates statewide?
One with Champaign County/U of I tests included (which gives us 3.4%) and the other without Champaign County. Which would likely put the rest of the state’s positivity rate to at least closer to 6-7%.
