That’s very good turnout from the 25-34 year old crowd. Seems kind of weak for the over 40s. I’d have to figure it’s probably not going to hit 1983 mayoral runoff raw vote numbers unless there really are a lot of postmarked mail-ins in the pipeline, and certainly nowhere close to 1983 percentage turnout on this evidence

I can’t speak for others, but when voter representation was replaced by endless fundraising, public office lost it’s allure.

The skew of the voting age provides easier passage for the CA. Interesting to see if this holds up and if it’s similar across the state.

And who knows what definition of “received” Mr. Michalowski is using. I deposited my “mail” ballot in one of the Clerk’s drop boxes on 10/25, and on Election Day, nine days later, the Clerk’s web site still shows it as “not returned”.

Voted at my usual place at about my usual time. Heavier than normal traffic. Judges said it’s been steady all day. Very easy, very pleasant, everyone was wearing masks. In and out in a jiffy.

Voted in rural Douglas Co. Was the only one there, two came in after. Everyone wore masks. Very easy.
