What’s clear from the numbers I’ve seen is that 70% of the House Democratic Caucus supports Mike Madigan. A diverse caucus of the Black Caucus, Latinx caucus, women, downstate and moderates. The only thing clear is that he has broad support and has the best interest of the caucus top of mind. This was not a time for Rep.
