    The little known last verse:

Don’t you give me no dirty looks
Your father’s hip, he knows what cooks
Just tell your hoodlum friend outside
You ain’t got time to take a ride

  4. - ChicagoBars - Tuesday, Oct 19, 21 @ 8:58 am:

    …was no Yakety Sax.

See easy to report your vaccine status.

FOP is dying on the wrong hill here, because freedom.

You ain’t gonna rock and roll no more

Ha…Used the lyrics to teach poetry.
    The kids loved it.

  8. - sal-says - Tuesday, Oct 19, 21 @ 9:10 am:

so the wsu head football coach refused getting vaxxed bec of some vague religious grounds that he wouldn’t discuss. He, along with 4 assistants, got fired. His salary WAS 3mill a year. Rocket scientist. Bet he won’t be getting many headcoach interviews in the next while.

  9. - H-W - Tuesday, Oct 19, 21 @ 9:18 am:

Drove up to Starved Rock State Park Sunday, for a little hike and recreation. I love the word, “re-creation.”

The leaves had not turned yet, but it was perfect weather for a hike.

  10. - Friendly Bob Adams - Tuesday, Oct 19, 21 @ 9:20 am:

I didn’t think I would care about the ALCS but it turns out I’m enjoying watching Houston get their behinds kicked by Boston…

  11. - hisgirlfriday - Tuesday, Oct 19, 21 @ 9:35 am:

Do not get the WSU coach resigning over the vax mandates claiming it interfered with his Catholic faith despite the Pope saying the vax was OK. Talk about a cafeteria Catholic.

  12. - Candy Dogood - Tuesday, Oct 19, 21 @ 9:43 am:

I am looking forward to the glorious Chicago Bears victory over Tampa Bay.

  13. - Grandson of Man - Tuesday, Oct 19, 21 @ 9:58 am:

Today is a lovely day for a championship parade. Congrats again to the Chicago Sky for bringing it home.

  14. - Cheryl44 - Tuesday, Oct 19, 21 @ 9:58 am:

The WAU coach was fired, he didn’t resign.

  15. - Cheryl44 - Tuesday, Oct 19, 21 @ 9:59 am:

WSU, not whatever spellcheck decided I typed.

  16. - Skeptic - Tuesday, Oct 19, 21 @ 10:12 am:

“I am looking forward to the glorious Chicago Bears victory over Tampa Bay.”

Oct.6, 2020 — The Bears are 0-5 against Tom Brady and defensive coordinator Chuck Pagano is 0-6 as ahead coach or defensive coordinator against him.

The Bears have beaten Aaron Rogers. . . just sayin’.

  17. - Keyrock - Tuesday, Oct 19, 21 @ 11:01 am:

How does Aaron Rodgers’ takeover of ownership of the Bears affect the proposed move to Arlington Heights?

  18. - NonAFSCMEStateEmployeeFromChatham - Tuesday, Oct 19, 21 @ 11:05 am:

FWIW Channel 20’s news is still being “previously recorded.” After this weekend’s hack.

Then again, “previously recorded” news is standard operating procedure at Channel 20’s SJ-R buddies. Friday night news “previously recorded or written” and presented both online and in print on Sunday, if at all.

  19. - Proud Sucker - Tuesday, Oct 19, 21 @ 11:26 am:

Very happy for Schwarber. At least one of the Cubs’ Class of ‘16 is still in the mix. Tough luck for Bryant and the Giants.

  20. - NonAFSCMEStateEmployeeFromChatham - Tuesday, Oct 19, 21 @ 1:17 pm:

==Tough luck for Bryant and the Giants.==

Don’t forget Dexter Fowler and the Cardinals (in the wild card game).

  21. - Amalia - Tuesday, Oct 19, 21 @ 1:29 pm:

love the Mayor and the Gov officially declaring Chicago Sky Town. great rally energy.

  22. - Dotnonymous - Tuesday, Oct 19, 21 @ 1:42 pm:

Warmest day in October Ever?…91 degrees…2021.

  23. - Jose Abreu's Next Homer - Tuesday, Oct 19, 21 @ 2:28 pm:

Chicago Sky parade/party is just a politician event. They’ve gone legit 45 mins with JB, Preckwinkle and other pols rather than have a Sky employee talk.

  24. - Jose Abreu's Next Homer - Tuesday, Oct 19, 21 @ 2:37 pm:

Don’t forget Dexter Fowler and the Cardinals (in the wild card game).

Dexter was traded to the Angels early spring and then blew out his leg so it was a short season for him.

  25. - Amalia - Tuesday, Oct 19, 21 @ 2:55 pm:

interesting that the pols at the Sky rally did not seem to receive boos. with Lightfoot she is a legit fan. certainly the proclamations from the gov and the mayor were good but those were after they were introduced. very different for a crowd.

  26. - fs - Tuesday, Oct 19, 21 @ 2:58 pm:

Not really sure where you’re going with that. Unless you forgot:

Bears 20 Bucs (and Brady) 19
    October 8, 2020

  27. - Rich Miller - Tuesday, Oct 19, 21 @ 3:02 pm:

    ===very different for a crowd.===

    Different type of crowd.

  28. - Skeptic - Tuesday, Oct 19, 21 @ 3:47 pm:

“Not really sure where you’re going with that. Unless you forgot:”

The point was that Rogers, who famously [explitive] owns the Bears has lost more times than Brady has.

  29. - NonAFSCMEStateEmployeeFromChatham - Tuesday, Oct 19, 21 @ 4:26 pm:

    ==Bears 20 Bucs (and Brady) 19

Then the Bears tanked the rest of last season.
