Packers, Pats, and Brady all out = good. Rams did their job yesterday, but now they and Kroenke can go too. That way I will have a very nice non-hate watching Super Bowl.
Gotta find enjoyment somewhere when our team is bad.
Saw a funny cartoon dig on Aaron Rodgers types who think they’re health experts on the pandemic, as opposed to medical professionals. It showed someone with a shocked face in the doctor’s office when told the school cafeteria server would perform the medical procedure, or something like that.
Amalia - You can take solace in the fact that had the Bears taken Mahomes, he would not have become Mahomes, and the team would still not have been successful. This is a totally inept organization

Nice dig at the Pack by the Gov. But he should also do a dig at the Bears and the McCaskeys for their longtime preference of losing or mediocrity at best for the Bears. And say if the Bears don’t get the coaching and GM search right he will threaten to buy out the McCaskeys and own the Bears after he’s Governor.

==The NFC North and East are garbage divisions==
Don’t tell that about the East to Joe Buck, he thinks that division is all that matters in the NFL. Same with Yankees and Red Sox in MLB.
@Lurker, oh for a Kelce. or a Gronk. and given that Nagy was the OC for the Chiefs, I guess we assumed that he was a QB guru. Guess that is actually the Chiefs QB coach, Mike Kafka.
any Bills fans out there? wondering how those folks are doing today. as a neutral that game end was head spinning. for a partisan who lost, it must be devastating.
On a non-football note, kudos to Bill Foster and Chuy Garcia signing the bipartisan letter calling on House leaders of both parties to support the ban on stock trading/ownership.
Would be great if every Illinois member of Congress could get on board.
Just found out Grain Belt Express in coming through our county. I am all for cleaner energy but why do they put it above ground? Burying the line would make more sense. On the fence.
I’m not a Bills fan per se but was rooting for them against the Chiefs since I get tired of seeing the same team going all the way so many years in a row. It was certainly disappointing but not surprising or “devastating.” There was a lot of chat about changing OT rules on Twitter even from Chiefs fans. Now I’m hoping Joe Burrow can knock the Chiefs out just like Bobby Boucher (also #9) took the Mud Dogs to the Bourbon Bowl in Adam Sandler’s The Waterboy, but I am not going to put money on it. Betting against Mahomes usually does not pay.
==any Bills fans out there? wondering how those folks are doing today. as a neutral that game end was head spinning. for a partisan who lost, it must be devastating.==
I am a Bills fan of 30+ years, and honestly, it was the Bills fan experience in a nutshell. And while most of the conversation going around is about the NFL’s overtime rules, there’s no way it should have ever gotten to that point when the “best” defense in the league couldn’t stop the Chiefs from getting in field goal range with 13 seconds remaining.
Anyone have more info on IRTA lawsuit about CMS underfunding insurance for retirees? I can’t believe we are back in court again. Why can’t those in state offices honor the contractual and constitutional obligations of the state and stop weaseling around. It is disheartening and maddening.

I thought it was funny. You know, because Aaron Rodgers is a slime ball. Not just because he lost a football game.

Yesterday’s night game was so scary good. It’s like the Bears play in an entirely different NFL than those teams.

As a lifelong Bears fan, let me say that it is not the most enjoyable. It is usually all we have. And right now, it is everything.

They are in an entirely different NFL, the one that ended after week 18. Kills me, but I did enjoy the erin rogers futility and the packers losing.
Last night’s game though? That was something to watch.

The NFC North and East are garbage divisions where above .500 will guarantee the championship…
Where you will then be exposed in the playoffs.

Truth. And Trubisky would have led the Chiefs to, wait for it, no Super Bowls. Google ‘Best North Carolina Quarterbacks’ to see what I mean.
