Our Governor has to swear an oath to uphold the Constitution of the United States which means a discussion as to whether or not an attack on the United States Capitol in an effort to stop the formal certification of the presidential election is, in fact, a state issue. Every statewide office holder and every legislator makes the same oath, which means all of them should be expected to discuss whether or not they believe that what happened at the Capitol of January 6th, 2021 is legitimate political discourse or not. After all, they have taken an oath or will take an oath the support the Constitution of the United States of America. We know Rep Chris Miller’s thoughts on the subject, he declared war on 01/06/2021.
