Proft PAC airs another crime ad

Thursday, Oct 20, 2022 - Posted by Rich Miller

* Press release…

People Who Play By The Rules PAC has launched a new ad, “FALL OF FEAR.” It is available on YouTube, the PBR PAC Facebook Page and will run on statewide media this week.

:30 YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Akqy4uyoIz8 [Fixed link]
TV Script:

JB Pritzker’s Purge Law has put you in danger. That’s what Democrats are telling you:

“…Significant increases in violent crime…” – Justin Hood, Hamilton County State’s Attorney, Democrat

“…Endangers our communities.” – Zachary Gowin, Alexander County State’s Attorney, Democrat

“What you see in Chicago, we’ll have here.” -Democrat State’s Attorney Jim Glasgow

AT HOME.

CHICAGO MAN HAD TO RUN AWAY WITH HIS CHILD DURING CARJACKING IN UKRAINIAN VILLAGE – CBS 2 CHICAGO

“You just started freaking out, thinking ‘Oh my God it happened, it happened, what we’ve been talking about and fearing forever just happened to us.” – Josselyn Kula, Mother

AT WORK.

MOVING OUT. BUSINESSES MOVING OUT OF BIG CITIES DUE TO CRIME.

“The city of Chicago has become Gotham City except we don’t have the Batman. We can’t even walk down the street without looking over our shoulder.” – Uzma Sharif, Chocolatier

Civilization is on the ballot November 8th.

It’s Pritzker or your personal safety.

You can’t have both.

Please. Our civilization should have ended many times before according to some. Gay marriage? Civilization as we know it is over. Marijuana? World coming to an end. Besides, Proft doesn’t even live here. I wish he would go away already.

Looks like the YouTube is “private”

    But I thought “sunshine”, amiright?

If crime isn’t moving the needle, according to pollS, this is a vanity cash cow for Proft to get his fees from Uihlein.

  4. - TheInvisibleMan - Thursday, Oct 20, 22 @ 11:56 am:

    –Democrat State’s Attorney Jim Glasgow–

Yesterday, a guy was arrested for the stabbing death of a guy at a gas station in Will County. Later in the day yesterday, he was released.

Earlier in the week, a guy was arrested for shooting at vehicles on a local road. He had been released by Will County after a day for the same previous crime a few weeks before.

There is no doubt in my mind that Glasgow is going to purposely torpedo his duties, and the duties of his office, after January 1st. He seems to be doing it right now just through incompetence, and he’s fully latched on to the plan to blame springfield for all his shortcomings.

  5. - Dance Band on the Titanic - Thursday, Oct 20, 22 @ 12:02 pm:

Are Proft and his rich friends trying to argue that if we don’t let people with financial means buy their way out of waiting in jail when they commit terrible crimes then “civilization” will end?

  6. - Dotnonymous - Thursday, Oct 20, 22 @ 12:05 pm:

Bailey couldn’t play by the (debate) rules.

  7. - Roadrager - Thursday, Oct 20, 22 @ 12:07 pm:

Maybe if the Proft braintrust makes an ad saying all these crimes are being committed because gas prices are so high, it’ll pull Darren within 10.

  8. - Jerry - Thursday, Oct 20, 22 @ 12:14 pm:

Homicides rates are higher in Red states.

  9. - Vote Quimby - Thursday, Oct 20, 22 @ 12:22 pm:

I watched it twice to get it up to 66 views…

  10. - The Velvet Frog - Thursday, Oct 20, 22 @ 12:46 pm:

Do either of those crimes have anything to do with bail release or detention? I’m not sure what they have to do with safe-T since they are ones happening before it has taken effect.

  11. - JS Mill - Thursday, Oct 20, 22 @ 1:13 pm:

=Proft doesn’t even live here. I wish he would go away already.=

Blame remote working. His gravy train is here.

  12. - Natty_B - Thursday, Oct 20, 22 @ 1:25 pm:

Is Proft’s solution to do what his cohost did and look into crimes in a bathing suit?

  13. - New Day - Thursday, Oct 20, 22 @ 1:26 pm:

“It’s Pritzker or your personal safety.”

What I love about Dan is his subtlety and understatement. He never makes ridiculous claims that are so transparently bogus. Awesome job, Danny. I give it a D.

  14. - Gravitas - Thursday, Oct 20, 22 @ 1:51 pm:

Like or not, these ads are resonating with some embattled Chicagoans. Crime is skyrocketing and the cases are making headlines. Checking the news recently makes Howard Beal’s rant in “Network” seem like reality. Wrigleyville, Rogers Park, and West Ridge have been the scene of violent crimes and murders in recent days.

    Data, please.

I know this is all a lot of baloney but I do get a kick out of the phrase “Pritzker Purge”….

It’s alliterative and ties in with a (somewhat) popular movie series about rampant crime.

Proft got one of those ads on Tucker Carlson’s show. That’s a bigger audience than many local networks combined. So there is that.

    ===Tucker Carlson’s show===

Shouldn’t Bailey already have those voters?

Bailey is, by all measured accounts, behind. It’s 20 days out, early voting has begun.

It’s a base ad, wasting money, less Proft fees?

    I guess that’s something, sure.

  19. - Boomer remover - Thursday, Oct 20, 22 @ 3:30 pm:

Proft or no proft, there’s still a crime issue NOONE is addressing

  20. - Rich Miller - Thursday, Oct 20, 22 @ 3:44 pm:

    ===NOONE is addressing ===

    What planet are you from?

  21. - Rich Miller - Thursday, Oct 20, 22 @ 3:46 pm:

Last guest on a Friday night? Hardly. Also, ads are effective with repetition. C’mon, already.
