While Mike Bost is no prize, Donald Trump isn’t going to forget that Darren Bailey basically abandoned Trump once the primary was over last year. Whenever Pritzker attacked Trump, which was often, Bailey never stood in support. Never spoke up or pushed back. Under different circumstances Bailey might compare his kind of abandonment to Peter denying Christ 3 times before the rooster crowed. But I won’t do that.

That’s what cults like, and likely the check cleared so Don Jr will be there to get it.

His present circumstances will be his primary motivator. I suspect he’ll support the loudest supporter who gets the most media attention. That’s likely going to be Bailey.
