I read the book “Son of Southern Illinois (Glenn Poshard’s life in politics and education)” by Carl Walworth over the weekend. I had forgotton how much he has done for people during his life, and was reminded of what a remarkable person he is.
And, yes, Rich Miller and Capitol Fax are mentioned. (pp. 192-193)

SJ-R releases 10 restaurants in Springfield which have the most food safety complaints. Sweet Basil Cafe, who defied compliance with COVID dining bans in 2020, made #3 on the list. Most of the rest of the list were fast-food places, including 3 McDonald’s (two of which are near state offices):
