Ask about our Paul Vallas Pricing. Pay $47.80 but act like it was $50.01.

    1535 N Madison?

Tell me you’re not from Chicago without telling me.

  9. - Norseman - Tuesday, Jan 23, 24 @ 12:55 pm:

As former GOP move away from the MAGA GOP, Vallas moves MAGA. Goodbye Paul.

  11. - The Truth - Tuesday, Jan 23, 24 @ 1:05 pm:

    1535 N Madison?

Tell me you’re not from Chicago without telling me.

They fixed it in the headline, but the error is still in the body. ;)

  12. - H-W - Tuesday, Jan 23, 24 @ 1:05 pm:

Mr. Vallas’ first series topic: How are you feeling about that Johnson vote now?

  13. - Just the Facts - Tuesday, Jan 23, 24 @ 1:10 pm:

Indiana man Kass must be doing the comms work for them . . . .

  14. - twowaystreet - Tuesday, Jan 23, 24 @ 1:10 pm:

GOP says we couldn’t get him to stay on subject if we tried so we aren’t going to try.

  15. - twowaystreet - Tuesday, Jan 23, 24 @ 1:11 pm:

Chicago GOP host pillow talk with Paul.

And intimate affair, that is guaranteed to put you right to sleep.

  16. - Just a Reader - Tuesday, Jan 23, 24 @ 1:20 pm:

I know this is supposed to be just a fun caption, but this is outrageous if you stop and think about it.

Paul Vallas insisted just last April that he was a “lifelong Democrat.” He hasn’t had a change of heart. He was (obviously) lying.

When a used car salesman lies like this, you don’t do business with them. How could any voter ever trust anything Paul Vallas says?

Enough ranting. Here’s a caption: “Paul Vallas will lead storytime at the GOP fundraiser Monday. Vallas will read selections from his favorite historical fiction and fantasy stories.”

  17. - NIU Grad - Tuesday, Jan 23, 24 @ 1:21 pm:

The Chicago GOP hosting a “How to Win Campaigns” seminar from Paul Vallas actually fits on many levels.

  18. - Keyrock - Tuesday, Jan 23, 24 @ 1:23 pm:

Mr. Vallas will be discussing his recent innovative corrective surgery, which has allowed him to become his true self as a political non-binary.

  19. - low level - Tuesday, Jan 23, 24 @ 1:23 pm:

It says it will be at the Billy Goat Tavern, 1535 N Madison. There is no 1535 N Madison in Chicago.

  20. - Local Person - Tuesday, Jan 23, 24 @ 1:31 pm:

    Life Long Democrat

  21. - walker - Tuesday, Jan 23, 24 @ 1:34 pm:

    Lost in Space

  22. - Chicago Blue - Tuesday, Jan 23, 24 @ 1:34 pm:

There is a Billy Goat at 1535 W Madison for folks making the yucks. And even if I’ve been insanely disappointed so far in Brandon Johnson and his team, I am still happy that Paul Vallas is not my mayor. What were Jesse White and Durbin thinking?

  23. - West Side the Best Side - Tuesday, Jan 23, 24 @ 1:44 pm:

“As a lifelong Democrat let me tell you how thrilled I am to be invited to infiltrate your organization. Although, I must say, it did take me a heck of a lot of time to find this location.”

  24. - James the Intolerant - Tuesday, Jan 23, 24 @ 1:46 pm:

I agree with Chicago Blue. Brandon Johnson has been a disappointment, but I can’t imagine Vallas would be making me proud to be a Chicagoan.

  25. - Amalia - Tuesday, Jan 23, 24 @ 2:09 pm:

$50 down the rat hole. and not the fun one.

  26. - Dunwich Snorer - Tuesday, Jan 23, 24 @ 2:17 pm:

Three-time loser to share his wisdom with Chicago GOP.

  27. - Gravitas - Tuesday, Jan 23, 24 @ 3:12 pm:

I still regret that Metro East delivered the nomination by a narrow margin to Blagojevich over Vallas in 2002.

  28. - NIU Grad - Tuesday, Jan 23, 24 @ 3:42 pm:

“I still regret that Metro East delivered the nomination by a narrow margin to Blagojevich over Vallas in 2002.”

A Vallas nomination would have been a solid path to Governor Jim Ryan, if his campaign track record is any indication.

  29. - Gravitas - Tuesday, Jan 23, 24 @ 3:58 pm:

    @NIU Grad:

    And your point is?

Blagojevich wound up being impeached and the entire state suffered for his madcap tenure. Anybody would have been better than Hot Rod.

  30. - JS Mill - Tuesday, Jan 23, 24 @ 5:08 pm:

=Anybody would have been better than Hot Rod=

    Darren Bailey enters the conversation…

  31. - Big Dipper - Tuesday, Jan 23, 24 @ 9:38 pm:

==Anybody would have been better than Hot Rod=

Not Rauner, he did way more damage. And you may be the first person to find Blago hot.

  32. - Big Dipper - Tuesday, Jan 23, 24 @ 9:40 pm:

=Let’s discuss how much buyer’s regret the city has now=

If there were a rematch tomorrow Palos Paul would still lose.
