* What’s going on?…

Even though it was backups and third stringers, Bears game was entertaining.
- TJ - Friday, Aug 2, 24 @ 8:05 am:
Cubs also had a surprisingly good one.
What’s next, an entertaining Sox game?

Also, weird for us to all be in a new era of college sports….
Where the Big Ten has eighteen teams.
Where the Big Twelve has sixteen teams.
Where the Pac-12 has two teams.
Where the Southeastern Conference has teams in Texas and Oklahoma.
Where the Atlantic Coast Conference has two teams in California.
Only a matter of time before the Big Ten and SEC raid the ACC hardcore and further cement their duopoly.
I’m looking forward to the continued evolution of the admittedly fantastic Big Ten Network map commercial, though.

I was at the Cubs game last night. I didn’t know Chicago baseball teams were allowed to have a walk-off win in the ninth. I thought it was against one of those new rules.

@TJ Your post made me chuckle. Numerical madness, indeed.

Has Sheriff Jack Campbell hired other failed/problematic officers with bad records that don’t matter…to him.
Does the public have to wait in fear to find out?
