Bruce’s song arrives against the background of the President saying he doesn’t know if he has to faithfully follow the Constitution. Been thinking a lot about how to effectively (and peacefully) fight his lawlessness as a retired lawyer.
A welcome distraction the past couple days has been the NBA and NHL playoffs. While the Bulls were technically in it ever so briefly, my attention turns tonight to the NHL draft lottery, where we get to see if the Blackhawks are going to be ping pong ball champions or not.
Oddly enough though, rooting for the team to stay at 2nd overall, as this is a relatively weak draft and next year’s is viewed as much stronger, and if we move up this year we’d be ineligible to move up next year due to lottery rules.

The thing is, with a new coach and a lot of prospects having to hit the big club eventually, the Hawks could pretty easily move out of the range of getting a high draft pick next year anyway. Like, while still not exactly being good. They could be in purgatory like the Bulls are. Too bad to really contend, too good to get high draft picks.
Seeing the Blues choke away a 3-1 lead late in game 7 and losing 4-3 in OT was painful. 1.6 seconds were left in the game when the tying goal by the Jets were scored.

Americans will decide to uphold and defend The Constitution of the United States…or they won’t.
When the sitting President says he doesn’t know (or care?) that His oath to defend the Constitution matters…what then?
