Just saw Jason Isbell at the Fabulous Fox at the end of April. The only summer concert I am going to is taking my family to see Weird Al in Evansville. However, in October, I am going to see Johnny Blue Skies (Sturgill Simpson) in Indy.
In the coming years, I want to see Tyler Childers and Billy Strings in concert and a summer evening concert for both would be perfect.
We’re going to the Moccasin Creek Festival in Effingham in June. Rodney Crowell and Nick Shoulders are headliners
- Joe Bidenopolous - Thursday, May 21, 26 @ 8:08 am:
Let’s see…
Brandi Carlile
Sturgill Simpson
Noah Kahan
Paul Simon
Kacey Musgraves
Alison Krauss and Union Station
The John Prine 80th Celebration (October)
Shaboozey (lol, October)
Avett Brothers at the Fair is the night before Kacey Musgraves. We may try to make that too.
Haven’t bought any concert tickets. There are so many free concerts in Chicago in the summer that I don’t need to. Especially looking forward to D-Composed and Kahil El’Zabar at Millennium Park, and, as always, the Grant Park Symphony.
- Keyrock - Thursday, May 21, 26 @ 7:42 am:
Bonnie Raitt - Ravinia. Want to see her one more time.

We don’t have the problems IThe Foo in this country that we used too, and they are the reason why. (Stolen from Letterman.)

Molly Tuttle is a terrifically talented musician and singer.
Her brother, Sullivan Tuttle, is equally talented on guitar and plays with AJ Lee and Blue Summit.
How about introducing CapFaxers to AJ Lee some time?
