I saw my all-time favorite comedian with my son on Saturday - Illinois native Emo Philips.
Today Illinois-based McDonalds is bringing back their fried apple pies.
Life is good - and better because of our great state.
Still enjoying my post-retirement monthlong jaunt along the East Coast. Three weeks after formally retiring, I must say I am ready to return to the Prairie State. But first - a few days in the mountains await.
