Rep. Ammons is unopposed in the general election. But the HRO previously issued press releases calling out Democratic targets on the Harry Benton case. So expect to see more of this down the line.

HGOP doesn’t have the resources to run this play successfully, especially given their party’s leader sordid track record with trying to line his own pockets.
Will certainly create angst within the HDem Caucus which is probably worth the effort. Chaos creates opportunities.

Omg that’s brutal. The GOP may not have money but they sure have opportunity. Between the new DSA playbook, Ammons, and Benton, it’s ripe territory. Granted, they will continue to have a Trump problem and no money, so there’s that.
Agree with PolOp, it makes it really uncomfortable within the caucus.

It’d be nice if someone could convince her to quit her candidacy. But if there’s anything that the last decade of electoral politics have taught me is that it’d be nice if has about as much authority as thoughts and prayers policy proposals.

Got to admit that that’s a clever add and the ‘disclaimer’ at the end is hilarious. True that the GOP can’t land this though.
