The stuff going on with how Lincoln Way students/coaches have treated Homewood Flossmoor students with racist comments at sporting events recently hurts my heart.
Then I see a news article that mentions that Ruby Bridges had a birthday yesterday and turned 72 years old.

Carol’s resignation from NBC5 happened, along with Ron Magers, on May 1, 1997 in response to the station giving Jerry Springer a commentary spot during the news. This was in the midst of Springer’s huge talk show popularity and the scandals that went with it.
